WHAT DOES JUSTICE LOOK LIKE FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS
Join us for a conversation between 2021 Manhattan District Attorney candidate, Lucy Lang and the Justice Ambassadors Youth Council. This event will explore future policies for preventing gun violence amongst young people as well as alternatives to incarceration for youth offenders.

Justice Ambassadors Youth Council is a platform for 16 to 24 year olds who’ve been previously justice-involved and Youth residing in New York City, to participate in an eight week, structured classroom setting with city officials to hold conversations about challenging community issues, including poverty, trauma, racial inequality, and to co-develop policy proposals.

Lucy Lang is running to become the next Manhattan District Attorney in order to promote the dignity of every New Yorker — victims, incarcerated people, their families and communities — who interacts with the criminal justice complex. She is running to advance racial and gender equity in a system that has so often ignored them. And, she is running to support a safe city for us all, because ultimately communities cannot prosper when they are devastated by crime.
